Success Stories
A recent fire door survey carried out at a large distribution warehouse following identification by a non-competent fire risk assessor resulted in our consultants reducing the number of fire doors required, which saved the organisation £5,000. The original assessment recommended the replacement of 10 doors; our consultants reduced this to 5 doors, which still achieved a minimum legal requirement as required by current guidance documents.
An East Midlands restaurant was visited by the fire service, who carried out an audit of their premises. This resulted in an "Improvement Notice" being served, restricting the use of the kitchen area until the fire doors were replaced with a standards-compliant product, including appropriate fitment.
To help remove the improvement notice and maintain the kitchen open at this very busy restaurant , "Just Fire Doors" supplied and fitted the double set of quality doors during a period a night when the restaurant was closed, which resulted in the removal of the notice. This ultimately allowed the restaurant to continue trading without any loss of business over a very busy weekend.
Comments have been made by a number of our customers that "Just Fire Doors" will go that extra mile to provide a quality fitment service, in sometimes difficult situations, and negotiate with the Fire Service on their legal requirements in the provision of quality fire doors.
