Do you supply approved Fire Doors?
Yes, we only sell approved Fire Doors:
- All fire doors supplied by us come with a 12-month guarantee
- Supplied doors are to BWF standards
- All doors are manufactured to British Standard 476 Part 22
What do I need to know when ordering a Fire Door?
When you order your Fire Door, you will need to specify:
- Type - do you need a 30-minute fire door (FD30), a 1-hour fire door (FD60)etc.?
- Size - we will need exact measurements for the door you require (or for the door frame into which the door will be fitted)
- Finish - we supply fire doors with a paint grade ply finish, veneered or laminate finish.
- Glazing - do you need vision panels in your door? If so, how many and what style?
- Quantity - how many fire doors do you need?
Can you provide me with guidance in identifying how many and what type of Fire Door(s) I need?
Yes, we can undertake a Fire Door Survey for you which will identify your requirements.This is a comprehensive site survey, detailing each fire door and action required (if any), each door and door requirement is itemised to inform you of what work is required to bring it up to the fire safety standard.
Can you fit my Fire Door(s) as well as supply them?
Yes, all our fire door fitters are highly qualified, experienced and accredited by a 3rd party.
Our joiners only fit fire doors: they do not carry out any other joinery work and so they are experts in their field. They also have many years of experience from operational fire incidents.
How quickly can you deliver my Fire Door(s)?
All our fire doors are made to order. Generally, any door can be supplied within 2 - 3-weeks although specialised doors with more exacting requirements can take up to 5-6 weeks.
How do you deliver my Fire Door(s)?
All doors are delivered to your door by our delivery driver or a third party delivery service.
How do I pay for my Fire Door(s)?
When you place your order, we require either full payment for fire doors or a 50% deposit on supply and fit . When we deliver your door(s), we expect payment on delivery for the outstanding amount if any. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque, card or cash.
Do you have a Quality Assurance check for your Fire Door(s)?
Yes, for any door we supply and fit, we have Quality Assurance inspections after the door is fitted by our surveyors.
What types of Fire Doors do you supply?
In the main, we supply 30-minute fire doors, which are the most common type. We also supply 60-minute, 90 minute and 2-hour fire door sets when required, as well as mobility doors for disabled access.
Do you supply a Furniture Pack with your Fire Doors?
Yes, on request, each door can be supplied with:
- BS Self closing device
- BS handles
- BS signage
- Combined heat and cold smoke seals
